Fish filleting course

Our evening fish filleting course, held at the Fish Shop in Gloucester Road  Bristol, get you hands on with fresh fish and seafood.  You will learn how to identify different types of fish, what to look for when buying fish and shellfish. The course will teach you how to: 

  • Gut and fillet  Mackerel
  • Scale, gut and fillet Sea bass
  • Fillet a flat fish like a Plaice 
  • Clean Squid
  • Open an Oyster

The two hour courses cost just £25 per person. You will get up to £15 worth of fish and seafood to take away with you plus recipes to help you cook it. Book 5 people on a course and 1 person goes free.
